Wrapping Up the Sewing Year

For the month of December I have a bunch of vintage cutter quilt pieces to inspire me. I'd like to join some of these together to make slow-stitched pillows, wall hangings and journal covers.

This adorable hand-embroidered crane or duck piece is begging to be made into a pillow top. I love him.

I'm also still working on my Jane Eyre project; right now I'm transferring an image of Haddon Hall in the UK, which was used as the setting for three different Jane Eyre films, to be my representation of Thornfield Hall from the book. This is going to take a while, but I'm not rushing.
