A Little Time Travel

I'm sorting through my photo archives to get 2023's pics ready to transfer to my remote storage service, and got curious about what I was doing exactly one year ago. My photographs aren't just for sharing projects and ideas online; I use them now to chronicle the projects I work on, like this quilt. Making it made me very happy last October; I loved the colors and the little birds. It went to a dear friend for her brand-new baby granddaughter.

I had also just discovered Fabscrap, and used some flannel sample swatches that came in one of my scrap packs from them to make these pillows for the holidays.

Finally, I found two shots of this pretty guy. We were pretty lucky in October 2022; Hurricane Ian hit us but only inflicted minor damage; my favorite person landed her dream job and relocated to the islands to work for the university there. All good memories. :)
