Look Back

May was an interesting if not very productive month, sewing-wise. I put sleeves in two ten-foot-long garden shade cloths for our next door neighbor.

I almost finished embroidering my clothes maketh the quilt project.

I didn't get a lot of sewing done because I was focused on spring cleaning, and then I came down with a bug that kept me from getting much done. But somehow I was able to clean out my home office entirely. I also changed up the art on the walls by replacing my mini art quilts with prints and one slow-stitched piece by another textile artist that I put in thrifted frames.

I was pretty shocked at the nice, good quality frames I was able to get for just a buck or two at Goodwill.

I don't think I'm going to buy new frames anymore.

I also kept up with my stitch calendar project for another month. I hope I do a little more sewing in June. Onward!
