In the Garden

Things are going well in the gardens. It seems our pickling cucumbers (right) are flirting with our salad cucumbers (left).

The second planting of pole beans are sprouted and starting to climb the twine. These are the easiest plants to grow in the garden.

Hard to see but the purple carrots have sprouted, too.

A dear friend sent me these radish seeds last spring, so it feels like a gift from her to harvest and have them with dinner.

And I do believe we will have homegrown corn to eat on Thanksgiving.
