Designing Dreams

I fell in love at first sight with this print, it's called Wildest Dreams from Sharon Holland's Bookish collection for Art Gallery Fabrics; I have no idea why. Sometimes love is just love. :)

I don't really have a method to designing a quilt, but I thought I'd document my process anyway. One of my favorite color palettes is pink with gray and white, so I hauled out a scrap and a jelly roll I've been saving, and put them with the fabric.

I then searched for a free online pattern that uses blocks and jelly roll strips, and found this one over at Sewcanshe.com. I won't do the exact same thing, but it gave me an idea of how to use my blocks and jelly roll. So now I need to think for a bit. :)
