My guy and I went out the other day, and stopped for takeout, which we took down by the lake. We like to sit and watch the boats while we eat. Basking in the sunshine along with the dragonflies is one of my favorite ways to have lunch.
I'm also gathering ideas for a summer art project, so I brought my camera to take some pics of the water and the things that thrive by it.
Mangrove trees have roots that grow above the ground and look like little fairy mansions to me.
There's always something to spark my imagination. I love this gnarled, worn patch of wood hiding in the grass.
Even in the brackish marshy spots there is something to inspire me.
