The Little Things

Yesterday I finished my second big work project of the year, which was more a relief than a victory. I'm always trying to learn something new to improve my work, and after following a colleague's advice I did make a pretty significant change for the better, I hope. Either way this one taught me a lot.

For dinner last night we picked the first of the pole beans from our little veggie garden. Just a handful are plenty for me and my guy, and they're so good I never want to open another can of the same. We don't grow enough food to sustain ourselves entirely -- nor do we want to try that -- but having these little fresh additions to our menu is nice.
