My guy and I went last Sunday to get our Pfizer booster shot (this is my card, with name and location blocked for privacy.) We decided after seeing almost everyone in our town going around unmasked lately it was time. Appointments for the booster shots only recently became widely available in our area, too, and it's pretty obvious people here aren't going to take precautions anymore. While I will still wear a mask and social distance when we're out and about, I feel a little safer.
For some reason I had a more severe reaction to this shot; I had a moderate fever, bad chills, nausea, body aches and a whopping headache. I've spent the last four days mostly in bed. Fortunately my guy had only a mild reaction, and he was able to look after me.
I don't know if I feel safe enough to go back to dining in at restaurants. I expect after a couple of weeks my guy will want to, but I'm not sure it's a good idea yet. I'd rather cook at home, wait and see.
