Awe-Inspiring

While on a day trip to Micanopy, FL we stopped by their museum where I saw this gorgeous 1930 embroidered flower and flag quilt.

Unfortunately the museum didn't have the best lighting, so some of my pics of it were blurry or didn't turn out.

All of the flowers on the quilt were hand-embroidered, as were the tiny flags, which are entirely stitched -- no fabric. This is what you call a masterpiece.
