Look Back

To kick off March I made this giant crocheted basket out of thrifted and recycled yarns.

I got back into quilting by making this patriotic table runner out of scraps only.

I used this thrifted vintage textile to do some hand and machine stitching practice while I turned it into a quilted runner (admittedly the binding did not go well.)

I made an art quilt using only yellow vintage fabrics which fits nicely atop my editing table.

I crocheted another basket, one with a lid, from scrap yarn while following a You Tube video tutorial by Jayda Institches.

Using the same pattern and one thrifted ball of Wool-Ease I made this lidless version.

Finally I kept up with my mood calendar crocheted blanket, with Happy coming in first with eight days, followed by Creative with seven. I added two more colors, a medium blue to represent nostalgic, and a dark pink to represent frustrated. With only two negative mood days I think March was a very good month for me. Onward to April. :)
