October's Efforts

Last month was a busy one for me. In addition to wrapping up the last phase of my work project, I made another of my thrifted quilt kits into a small wall hanging.

I tried cross stitch again by making this thrifted Christmas ornament thing. I got one row and all the quarter cross stitches wrong, but the instructions were very poorly-written. Ah, well, I never much liked cross stitch.

I used another of my thrifted quilt kits to make a project bag with pockets.

I finished the recycled linen quilt, which I started way back on April 7th, 2022.

I taught myself how to knit again by using knitting looms, and made a little hat for Patch on my first try.

On my third try at knitting by loom, I made this winter scarf from the yarn leftover from last year's wrap project.

Since I'll be out walking the dogs twice a day this winter I crocheted a little hat to keep my head warm.

While I was on the crochet kick I also made a pair of slipper socks for myself in an ombre blue yarn that made one turn out darker than the other.

Finally I kept up with my calendar scroll embroidery project for another month. Very happy with all I accomplished, now onto November!
