Even Better

After the disappointment I felt over Memories of the Alhambra I decided to rewatch Crash Landing on You, one of if not the biggest k-drama hit on Netflix. Not only was it better the second time around (I was able to pay more attention to the details) it also made me cry again at the end. Something that moves me to tears twice definitely deserves a bravo.

The basic storyline is what happens when a wealthy business woman from South Korea goes parasailing, encounters a storm and ends up crash landing in North Korea, where she's first chased and then rescued and hidden by some North Korean soldiers. The series is a wonderful mix of action, comedy, drama and romance, and has the very best cast who all do a marvelous job with their roles. The two lead actors ended up getting married in real life, and are now expecting a baby, so one has to wonder if they were really just acting in this series. :) Anyway, I highly recommend this series if you want to see k-drama at its very best.
