Lakeside

To wrap up Mother's Day my guy and I went for a lakeside walk, and there watched the sunset. These lily pads filled the waters near the embankment.

We discovered that the bugs of summer there, too -- the gnats in particular -- but also plenty of spiders building natural bug traps.

I took about a hundred shots of the sunset, which was glorious, but this was my favorite photo of the night. Very peaceful.
