Nondairy Blend

I don't use dairy products, but fortunately there are a lot of healthy substitutes on the market. To get my RDA of calcium I opt for oat milk, which is the type that is kindest to the planet, but I've never cared for the taste (I'm not a fan of anything made from oats.)

For the last year I've been drinking oat milk, and until now I've added a teaspoon of vanilla extract and a packet of stevia to make it more palatable. One morning when I was running low on oat milk I topped off my glass with some coconut milk I bought for another purpose, and then tasted it. The coconut milk neutralized the oat taste entirely, and made the drink as close to dairy milk as I've ever tried. The ratio I use now is five parts oat milk to one part coconut milk/coconut water blend.
