Summer has arrived, and I've been super productive this past month, starting with a thrifted pair of Michael Kors leggings I altered to fit me better. I also turned a thrifted pair of British jeans into shorts for the summer. I crocheted a bucket hat for fall out of thrifted yarn by following Secret Yarnery's video tutorial here . My first mini quilt of June was made with crochet yarn and embroidery thread that I made myself out of twelve strand of sewing thread. I repaired an old quilt that the dogs like so they can go on using it. My second mini-quilt for June was a stitch practice piece, and also an attempt to save a bit of beautiful vintage tea towel embroidery. I made a wall hanging quilt out of a vintage cross-stitched napkin and a $1.50 bag of fabric scraps I thrifted. I cleaned and repaired two thrifted Vera Bradley bags.
