UFOs

I usually finish every project I make, but every now and then other priorities crop up. When that happens I set something aside and go back to it . . . unless I forget and it ends up becoming what quilters call a UFO (which stands for unfinished object, I think.) This beaded piece is one of my rare UFOs, but it's almost finished, so I'm thinking about doing the last bit it needs to be done.

I'll have to clean it first -- for some reason I didn't store it in a project box, and the surface got dusty.

Another UFO that never even got off the ground: cloning this crazy heart pot holder I picked up long ago at a local guild fundraiser. I meant to make a set of these so I could retire the admittedly ancient quilted pot holders I'm still using -- but again life intervened with a need for a baby quilt, and this project got shuffled to the side.
